Common questions about EDS
What is Electro-Dermal Screening (EDS)?
EDS is a non-invasive procedure that uses a gentle electromagnetic field to measure electrical resistance along pathways in the body called meridians. Reading the body's energy at predetermined acupuncture points helps us identify imbalances in the energy flow to specific organs, glands, and systems — and guide natural support like targeted nutrition and body cleansing.
Does EDS screening hurt?
No. EDS is completely non-invasive and painless — a small probe touches acupuncture points on your hands while you hold a brass rod. There are no needles and nothing enters the body. It's gentle enough for infants and children.
How much does an evaluation cost?
An initial evaluation is $160. Follow-up re-evaluations are $75 (30 minutes) or $90 (45 minutes), and children's re-evaluations (ages 0–10) are $65. Family packages bring the initial evaluation to $142 for a second family member and $115 for a third.
Can I get evaluated without coming to the clinic?
Yes — we offer mail-in hair sample evaluations: $75 for ages 0–10 and $90 for ages 11 and up. Call 320-217-5388 or email us and we'll walk you through how to collect and mail your sample.
